In both organizations quest to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools, we have developed a well-structured curriculum (YOU and I Programme) for teaching leadership, character and good habits in children and young people. During one-hour sessions every week during the term, the students will be taken through various materials from our YOU and I programme booklet by certified school facilitators.
The partners was officially signed on 6th April 2017 by the Presidents of the organisations Mr. Simon Kioko and Mr. Micheal Ohene-Effah above in the presence of a YOU and I Director Mr. Jared Babu shown below.
As a country, both state and non-state actors need to step up strategies to adequately and completely prepare young children in school for a balanced and productive work life, which will spearhead economic growth and foster unity.
To this effect, there is a need for a well-crafted and strategically develop leadership programme which will carefully spot, select, train, and cultivate the next generation of leaders for every sector of the economy of which YOU and I and LeadAfrique has set the pace.
You and I is based in Kenya while LeadAfrique is based in Ghana and we believe together we shall transform Africa.
