Speed Mentoring at Frafraha Community School, (facosh) adenta

The students of Fafraha Community School, Adenta were privileged to be the first school to enjoy the fruits of our maiden program, SPARK; our social responsibility program to inspire, motivate, and encourage students to be the very best God created them to be. On the 28th February 2018, the LeadAFrique Team together with four great mentors engaged 458 school children (JHS 1&2) to equip them with leadership and personal development skills. It involves a few hours of motivational session with the students and speed mentoring with accomplished corporate executives. The corporate executives who took time out their busy schedules to make such great impact included Mrs. Mercy Wemah, Mrs. Edwina Nyarko-Lartey, Mr.Shedrack Bentil and Mr.Micheal Ohene –Effah.

The students were motivated to take their studies seriously, pay attention to what they are being taught in school, and practice them to bring out the power in them. Finally, the students were motivated to priorities in life, consider the very things that can make them better individuals in future and also assist them in achieving their academic and personal goals.Students were given opportunity to ask questions specifically about their challenges. Answers, solutions and direction were given by the mentors on the questions asked by the students, for about twenty minutes. Students felt and empowered and challenged to be the best in their endeavors after the session. The headmistress and teachers at the program were also impressed for the good work done by the LeadAfrique Team.
